UACRAO Monday Activities!

2010 Conference Monday Activities

Here are some exciting activities that will take place Monday, June 7th!

UACRAO Golf Tournament

We'll be hitting the green Monday June 7th to kick off this year’s UACRAO conference. Mountain Dell's Canyon Course, located in Parley's Canyon off Interstate 80 at Exit 134, has been selected as this year's tournament site. The first tee time will be 11 AM. Golfers should expect to pay $49 which includes the following: green fee, cart fee, scorecards, cart signs, markers for competitions, and a scoreboard. Prizes will be awarded! More detailed information will be sent to each golfer as the tournament approaches.

Please Note: we have been asked to make one group payment so please bring CASH.

If you did not sign up when you registered for the conference and still want to golf it’s not too late! Contact Mr. Fran Hopkin, Golf Tournament Coordinator, at FranHopkin@weber.edu.

UACRAO Day Hike

Lace up your sturdy shoes and we will all meet for a scenic hike to be led by our own Mountain Princess, Lori Drake! ( I wonder if she yodels?) Trail mix and hydration provided for all participants. Meet in the lobby of the hotel at 2:30 for a relatively easy hike in the beautiful Park City mountains.

UACRAO Dinner Groups

For anyone who is interested in a dinner group, we will meet at 6:00 and again at 7:00 in the lobby of the hotel and head to the Grub Steak Restaurant (or another location of your choice).

Other Activities

If you are interested in the rich history of Park City, consider the Park City Museum with interactive exhibits and video clips. There is a $10.00 admission fee and more info can be found at www.parkcityhistory.org.

With the excitement of the recent Olympics you may want to visit the Utah Olympic Park or the 2002 Eccles Olympic Museum --I hear they have a very complete Utah Olympic Pin collection! www.olyparks.com

If you need more of an adrenaline rush, the Alpine Coaster may fit the bill. Cost is $20 and you can have a look at www.parkcitymountain.com

For some of you, shopping is an adrenaline rush and there are plenty of outlets and specialty shops to fulfill your need and empty your purse!
